Child Art Psychotherapy (4 - 12)
I am not accepting new clients, but do have a waitlist! :)
In the meantime, if virtual sessions are an option for you, I recommend reaching out to Shawna Banville, by clicking here!

These sessions are art psychotherapy, which means that a safe space, creative activity, and art therapist’s support will help your child work through a struggle of some sort.

These are for children aged 4 - 12 years that could benefit from a safe and supportive space for self-exploration, personal growth, and creative expression.
Children with crisis-level needs, goals, or situations such as struggling with suicidality, self-harming behaviour, or a tendency to harm others are not suitable for my art therapy work.
-
These happen at Heartworks Children’s Studio in Orillia, ON.
-
They cost $145 per session. I do have a select number of low income client spots if needed.
After you pay for each session, I will send you a receipt. If your insurance company covers sessions provided by a qualifying registered psychotherapist, you can submit with them for reimbursement each time!

Ideal goals that align with my work include but are not limited to the following:
Developing self acceptance, compassion, and/or trust
Gaining a sense of autonomy
Feeling safe
Experiencing a positive relationship
Feeling capable
Crisis-level needs, goals, or situations such as struggling with suicidality, self-harming behaviour, or a tendency to harm others are not suitable for my private practice.

Sessions typically run from Monday to Friday, with starting times between 3:30 to 6:30PM depending on availability.
